Heather, I’m so glad that you are enjoying spinning the Salt Marsh fiber! And thank you for the kick in the pants I needed to get things up and running with the shop again! You ROCK my friend!!
Heather! I hope you get loads of napping & knitting done on Saturday. You were so sleepy! But you have had a crazy couple of weeks to say the least!!! You’re PJ outfit was awesome (I don’t alternate feet in my slippers either).
We have Liquidation World & MTF that seem similar to Marden’s, and I love to check them out, if only to window shop. No places with $1 brand new books or ridiculously discounted yarns though!! Good find!
I love the fiber you dyed for the club — beautiful covers! Isn’t that book jacket art copyrighted, though? I wouldn’t want you to be infringing on someone’s copyright…
I’m glad you asked! There are a couple of reasons it’s okay to use the photo I did for the tag:
1) There was no money earned from use of the image – no one knew it was coming, and it wasn’t used to sell the fiber. That’s why it’s wrong to use someone else’s material … because then one is making money off someone else. That wasn’t the case here.
2) The photo was used to show the inspiration for the colorway; the source (both the book and the movie) are cited in my letter to club members. I’m on no way claiming that the image or title is mine.
I even checked to make sure that the phrase “As You Wish” wasn’t trademarked by William Goldman, the author. As far as my research went, it wasn’t.
I hope that clears things up for you! Be sure to email me if you have further questions.
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. Sounds like a I got an okay deal! I love that. I’m in the process of catching up on my sleep now that drama is all done. Thanks!

Hi Heather – Just wanted to let you know that the original price tag on my Wash Day Wool is $6.99, but WEBS has it listed for $3.59.
I hope you’ve been able to get some much needed rest!
