Episode 29 – Wicked Excited

27 Mar

Maine Maple Sunday – a Maine tradition I can now say I’m a part of.  We went to Bob’s Sugar House in nearby Dover-Foxcroft after having a public breakfast at the Dover Fire Department.  It was wonderful!

White Ash Worsted – new colorways are Out of Africa, Romeo & Juliet and Beowulf.

Sugar Maple Sock – new colorways are Empress, Trixter, Holiday and Greenwood.

Black Cherry Lace – new colorways are Moss, Ladyslipper, and a custom colorway I can’t share yet.

Pitch Pine TopWait a Minute in falkland, Cherry Blossom in bfl and Eadha in silk.  Both silks are spoken for, but when I have more I will be dyeing this colorway again.

Spindles are on the way!  It’s a goal of mine to get several listed.  I’m out of corriedale, so the next set of kits I’ll be making will have bfl instead.  Try it – you might like it!

Find me on plurk and ravelry (as boutrosbabe), Etsy (highlandhandmades), and on my blogs The Fiberista Files and Highland Handmades.

I’m almost to my 200th sale – whoever buys the 200th item will get a surprise gift! Thanks to everyone who has left comments and messaged me this past week.  I really appreciate the feedback!

The Wicked Big Toddlah by Kevin Hawkes is great.  You should get it!

Still working on Girasole (link takes you to my Rav project page)

Will O the Wisp soaps – these are awesome!  I love them so much.

Finally – in case you are unaware, blip.tv play commercials at the beginning and end of podcasts.  The revenue these ads earn goes directly to the podcasters and helps to defray production costs.  If you watch the podcast on iTunes, we do not earn that revenue.  If it’s all the same to you, we’d prefer you watched us using the blip.tv player.  Thanks!
